Ever experienced poor health? Whether it is chronic or acute, mental or physical, health issues negatively impact your life. However, they can positively impact your life as well.

 

Personally, having chronic health issues has lead me to:

I am a stronger and a better person because of all my health issues. I have taken the ugly, foul, discouraging, debilitating, and heartbreaking health issues I have and turned it into something beautiful. If I never experienced bad health, I wouldn’t have my own business, I wouldn’t be helping people regain control of their lives, I wouldn’t have a healthy relationship with food, I wouldn’t know who my true friends are, and more.

Dark times can motivate ordinary people to do extraordinary things. It’s the dark times that light a fire under your ass. This gives you the passion and courage you need to make positive change in your life and in the world.

 

If you are in a dark place in your life. Don’t lose hope. You can come out the other side stronger.

At times my health felt like a sick joke. I would not wish what I went through on my worst enemy. I felt constantly pushed to my limits both mentally and physically. But this is life. This is an ongoing experience that has ultimately shaped my life for the better. You can use your dark experiences and create something beautiful too. When we choose to see the good in the bad and learn from it, we and the world end up better off.
